A black and white vector image I made to liven up a business card project that was lingering on my mind back when. Frank Morses is a fictional private investigator of my own creation, tilting his hat and welcoming visitors perusing the business card. The project consisted of a lot of steps, beginning with simple sketches, the vector logo, and finishing up with a physical batch of business cards.
The white logo version was for the white business card, which is a great method of saving printing ink. The difference in the logo is only in the background, but when placed on the business card, it created a whole different aesthetic.
And continuing, the two business card versions I finalised and printed out. This was a fully amauterish project, so everything was done with what I had at home, starting with thicker version of office paper, and ending with rulers and paper knives.
The result was a fully home crafted product with literal rough edges and the ink rubbing off, since I used a laser printer instead of a inkjet one. Nonetheless, the business cards proved to be great conversation starters.
